Support
Email notify@askozwal.com and a person will read it. Include your account email and, if something broke, roughly when it happened — it makes the fix much faster.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions bought in the iPhone app are billed by Apple. To change or cancel one, open the iOS Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and pick Ask Ozwal. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the current period ends.
Already paid but the app still shows the free plan? Open Settings → Subscription in the app and tap Restore purchases. If that doesn't sort it, email us and we'll fix the account by hand.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue them on Apple's behalf, but tell us if something went wrong and we'll help you make the case.
Signing in
Ask Ozwal signs you in by email and password. Forgotten yours? Use Forgot password on the sign-in screen and we'll send a reset link. The link expires after an hour — request a fresh one if it's gone stale.
If the reset email hasn't arrived after a few minutes, check your spam folder, then email us and we'll confirm which address the account is under.
Location and notifications
Location is optional. When it's off, Ozwal asks you to type a place instead and everything else works normally. To change the permission, go to iOS Settings → Ask Ozwal → Location. In-app, the Device permissions screen under Settings shows the current status and links straight there.
Same for notifications: Settings → Ask Ozwal → Notifications on the device, or the Device permissions screen in the app.
Your data and deleting your account
You can delete your account from Settings → Delete account in the app. It removes your profile, the people you've added, and your conversations. Some payment records are kept where we're legally required to keep them — the Privacy Policy explains exactly what and for how long.
Ozwal gives suggestions, not professional advice. It is not a crisis service. If you're in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line right away.
